Brushless vs. Brushed Tools

Brushless tools have motors without brushes, which gives them more power and makes them more energy-efficient. This means your batteries will last longer between charges. Brushed tools are typically cheaper, but they wear out quicker and can start smoking when overworked. Once this happens, the motor becomes weaker, and you will likely need to replace the tool soon.

Hammer Drill Driver
